How can I create my Venga account?

It's quick and easy to create a Venga account. Once you've downloaded the app through your mobile application store, open the app and click on "Get started." Depending on your preference, you can create your account using your email address or phone number and enable FaceID for a quicker login afterward. Simply follow the steps, and you'll get running in minutes. Ready, set, Venga!

Do I need to verify my identity to use Venga?

Yes, you do. After creating your account, you'll have to complete the identity verification process with our partner, Sumsub, to access all the app features. This step is standard practice to ensure conformity with European regulations, as Venga puts a strong emphasis on compliance. It will only take a few minutes, and you'll only need to take a photo of your identity document and proof of address. Once your identity verification is approved, you can start using Venga.

But Venga has big plans for 2024, with a massive roadmap of products, services, and features to be added to the app. Some of the things that Venga is developing and will be adding in 2024 include Staking, a more robust cryptocurrency Exchange, Euro IBANs and crypto debit cards, RWA tokenization, and much more. How do I deposit funds in my Venga wallet?

If you already have cryptocurrencies on an external exchange or wallet, you can transfer them to your Venga account as long as they are supported on the app. To do so, you'll find multiple buttons allowing you to deposit throughout the app. After you click, select the coin you want to deposit and ensure that the network matches the one you will use to transfer the assets to your Venga wallet. This is paramount because unmatched network usage may result in a permanent loss of the funds that you will transfer. Copy-paste your Venga wallet address to where you will be sending your funds from, or scan your Venga wallet QR code to paste your Venga wallet address automatically. Send your funds, and you'll receive them in Venga once they are processed by the blockchain network.

How do I buy, sell, or swap crypto assets?

Buying, selling, or swapping crypto on Venga is simple. Select what you want to do from your dashboard, and you will be taken to the relevant process. Buy: Choose the currency you want to buy with, the asset you want, the amount, and the payment method. You'll be shown a list of exchanges through which you'll be able to buy your crypto, select the one that you want to use, and click confirm. You'll be redirected to your selected exchange's third-party process to buy your crypto, and the exchange might ask you to quickly confirm your identity via facial recognition. Once you complete your purchase, the funds will be in your Venga account once the transaction is processed. Sell: To sell your crypto, the process is almost identical when you want to buy crypto. Select the cryptocurrency and the amount you want to sell, the fiat equivalent you wish to receive, and where you want to receive it (IBAN, bank card, etc). You will be shown a list of exchanges, select the one that you want to use, and click confirm. You'll be redirected to your selected exchange's third-party process to sell your crypto, and the exchange might ask you to quickly confirm your identity via facial recognition. Once you complete your transaction, you will receive your funds in your chosen withdrawal method once the transaction is processed. Swap: If you want to swap your crypto for another crypto, select the asset, the amount you want to swap, and the asset you want to swap it to. Similar to when you want to buy or sell crypto, you'll be shown a list of exchanges through which you'll be able to swap your crypto, select the one that you want to use, and click confirm. You'll be redirected to your selected exchange's third-party process, and the exchange might ask you to quickly confirm your identity via facial recognition. Once you complete your swap, the funds will be in your Venga account once the transaction is processed.

What should I know before closing my Venga account?

Accepted Answer

Closing a Venga account consists of two phases: account deactivation & account closure. Account deactivation: After closing a Venga account, this -as well as all related deposit accounts- will be deactivated for a 30-days period. During this period, however, you will still be able to restore access to your account. Account closure: After being deactivated for more than 30-days, the account will be permanently closed. A permanently closed account cannot be restored, nor can you access its connected wallets, transaction history and data.

Do I need to withdraw my funds in order to close my account?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you do. Before closing an account, you will have to transfer all remaining funds.
