For the second straight year, Venga proudly participated in the European Blockchain Convention (EBC11), right here in our beloved Barcelona, as a Gold Sponsor and the local voice of the crypto industry.
Last year’s edition marked our first public appearance as a team, during which we officially introduced Venga to the world. This year, we decided to go bigger. With a stronger presence on the floor, more insightful participation on stage, and a cooler closing event – we sure did!
A Strong Presence on the Floor
We were hard to miss – and we brought the Venga vibe!
Our eye-catching 18m² booth (designed in-house, naturally) proudly displayed our local approach, bold branding, cool new look app, and stood tall under some nice hanging banners across the venue. But it was about way more than just good looks.
Visitors could walk away with some limited EBC-edition Venga T-shirts and exclusive stickers, both reflecting our local roots, but only after being introduced to a very special guest at our booth… the Tió de Nadal!
The Catalan Christmas log that “poops gifts” made an early appearance this year (in quite an unexpected place) and quickly became a crowd favorite — spreading joy, laughs, and a few surprises to the people who stopped by (and hit it the Catalan way).
Yes, we love blending innovation with local culture!

Venga at EBC11
Our team was all over the place as well – this year even bigger than ever with 20 Venga Boys & Girls – presenting our mission and vision to curious minds, meeting potential partners, and having a good time along the way. But we didn't stop there as some of our team members took the mic and went on-stage to share insights with the audience.
Shining On Stage
The Venga energy didn’t stop at our booth, it carried onto the stage too!
On Thursday morning, we had the honor of opening the OKX Stage with our keynote: “Riding the Next Wave of Crypto Adoption.”
Our CEO, Michael Stroev, kicked things off, setting the tone for what Venga is all about before handing the mic to key team members who brought their unique perspectives:
- Darío Orgaz (Head of Product) on our vision-driven product development and roadmap
- Julian Castaño (UX/UI Designer) on how a great design drives adoption and our approach about it
- Yvan Domingues (Marketing Manager) on our will to educate and become thought leaders
- Barbara Ippolito (MLRO) on our compliance journey and the importance of being trustworthy
We wrapped up by proudly sharing our goals as a company, and bringing the whole Venga team on stage for a photo moment that perfectly captured our spirit: passionate, united, and ready for what’s next!

Venga Keynote at EBC11
Right after the keynote, Michael joined the panel “MiCA Licenses’ Competitive Advantage for Customer Acquisition” alongside other leaders from major industry players such as OKX and Bitvavo, sharing valuable insights on how regulation can actually be a catalyst for adoption and not a roadblock.
The next day, Ana (CCO) took the spotlight in the panel “GENIUS Act vs. MiCA: Comparing US and EU Approaches to Crypto Regulation”, where she shared her expertise on how both sides of the Atlantic are shaping the future of crypto.

Ending the Convention with Good Vibes
As we did last year, we couldn’t let EBC end quietly. To close out the event, Venga partnered with EBC to throw an unforgettable Closing DJ Set & Drinks session.
With delicious Catalan food, refreshing drinks, and great music from DextForce, it was the perfect way to wrap up a convention full of exchanges, connections, and good energy — Venga style!

What’s Next for Venga?
2025 has been a milestone year for many reasons — and our strong presence across major industry events has been one of them.
We’ve been seen at 4YFN, Web3 Amsterdam, Paris Blockchain Week, Money20/20, ETHcc, and now EBC Barcelona. And of course, we’re not stopping here.
The team is already gearing up for an even more impactful 2026, continuing to show up, connect, and help shape the future of Web3.
