So, the name "Venga" is a symbolic representation of where the idea was born and where the team is from, at the same time as just sounding awesome in every language.

The complexity of the space and the time it takes for people to educate themselves and learn about blockchain is a hurdle for crypto adoption. Each year, countless innovations are developed in DeFi and web3, yet these innovations are challenging to discover, hard to understand, and sometimes complex to use. The mainstream audience generally only knows about Bitcoin. But even in Bitcoin, many innovations are happening each year, such as the Lightning Network, Ordinals and BRC-20s, and more. Venga aims to change this by making all DeFi and web3 innovations easy to discover and user-friendly by adapting them for the general audience and educating people about their differences, benefits, and what makes them unique. By doing so, Venga's goal is to grow the adoption of blockchain technologies and foster a web3 world while becoming Europe's leading and go-to crypto app.

Is Venga regulated, and does Venga have a cryptocurrency license?

In February 2024, Venga received its Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license from the Bank of Spain. Venga is also in the process of obtaining other VASP registrations and will apply to the European Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) as soon as applications are open. In January 2025, Venga successfully applied for the Market in Crypto Assets regulation (MiCA), and is expecting to receive the approval soon.

Yes, but Venga's approach to launching its token is to create something that will genuinely be useful within the ecosystem of products and services that Venga is developing so that it drives value for investors.
